An open letter to Alvin Greene

Dear Mr. Greene,
Some members of the Daily Kos internet community have expressed a desire to help you. As we see it, no one else has offered you a helping hand.

The WWW.Dailykos.Com internet community is a web site dedicated to helping Democrats win in various races.

I sincerely ask you to get on line, make contact with them in the form of writing about yourself, your platform and why you think you would be a good Senator from South Carolina. I think its safe to say they will bend over backwards for you and I promise you that you and the Daily Kos community will weather the storm.

Don’t wait too long. Don’t wait until the media has completely demonized you. The experience may not be as pleasant as you and others would like it to be, but if we keep our eyes on the prize, together we could make a difference.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Very soon! Go to DailyKos.com+Create account.

Fighting for the dignity of my Ancestors,
God bless Bill Gates, WPFW, C-SPAN and the spirits of the unborn for the help,

Our Man in South Carolina, Alvin Greene!

Excerpt:
I'm sure alot of people consider Mr. Greene to be a flawed messenger. So be it. Not supporting Alvin Greene with information about his opponent, and maybe a small money bomb or two, seems like an opportunity too good to be missed.
We can do the opposition research. We can put some boots on the ground. Alvin Greene is going to get face time with the media simply because of the strange circumstances of his win.

In comment section…
 Alvin needs our help. (6+ / 0-)
Probably more than any other Democrat on the ballot in November. Probably more than any other Democrat, ever. People who think that he is a joke are going to be very surprised - I am willing to bet that he will NOT lose by the biggest margin compared to other unsuccessful Democratic challengers. And with some money and (intensive) coaching, who knows?
I'm in the I-fucking-love-this-guy wing of the Democratic Party!

And
 My point exactly. (4+ / 0-)
No one seems to want to help the guy.
We could.
It's our turn now.

Stupidity! How many times?

On this one, I will not take the route of humility! I will not make any qualifications whatsoever! I will simply say, I AM NOT STUPID!

In my opinion, un-intentional consequences occur everytime a media commentator of any genre wants to waste my time telling me that Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck said something stupid. At this point in time, I fell insulted.

How many time does the point have to be made these people say stupid things? Such behavior is expected from the camp of Village idiots. They are comical, to be sure, but a daily dosage of stupid and from the same group of people is not my idea of news and should be exposed in other venues.

I have therefore disciplined myself to changing my television station each and everytime a commentator wants me to hear anything Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity or Glenn Beck is saying. Sometimes I may return to the channel, but I have noticed of late and most of the time…. I do not.

Also, I by-past any written article on web sites wherein the contributor concludes I have not been fully informed there are crazy people in America…. and they are always the same ones!

Now, if that group would be up for Kennedy Center Lifetime Achievement Awards or Peabody Awards or any sort of Distinguish American Awards, that would really get my attention! Until then, I will continue to flip them off. All of’em!

The Honorable Fake Pres. Rachel Maddow

Last night, Rachel re-visited the first Oval Office speech of Pres. Obama. It was a speech wherein the President beseeched our prayers to stop the mean ol’ oil on the coast from doing what oil wells do when they are disturbed.

Somehow, perhaps by divine intervention, Ms. Maddow got it into her head to re-write the Presidents' speech and present what she would like to have heard from him with (chuckle) appropriate background props.

Her flawless presentation was a thing of beauty. I sat on the edge of my chair and actually applauded at the end. Honestly! Ms. Maddow was so clear as to what she was saying and her mastery of the issues she articulated was nothing short of mesmerizing.

I can but imagine administrators of the school that she earned her PH.D from have secret wishes she would come back to get a few more if only to hear or read her thesis on the subject. Rachel Maddow is one brilliant woman!

President to nation: Let us pray.

Two issues…..
In his speech last night, the President spoke of annual prayer ceremonies for ships to yield good harvest from the waters. A blessing of the ships, if you will. Some how I heard him saying, and in agreement with Rachel Maddow, at this time, only prayer will stop the massive British Petroleum oil leak off our coast.

They say if you hold somethings in long enough without expressing yourself, they will take a toll from your body. Pres. Obama appears to be graying by the minute and if that is the results of holding things in, it links with another old saying: “You made your bed, now lie in it!” I say that because I am mindful the President hired the people who are closest to him. There are many of us who are not surprised if they are causing his body to conflict within itself. The man sang the song, “’spress yourself!”

On humanizing Mr. Alvin Greene

I didn’t say it! Would not’ve thought of saying such a thing but African-American United States Congressman House Majority Whip James Clyburn did! He said it!
“I believe he’s someone’s plant,” Clyburn said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” “I saw in the Democratic primary elephant dung all over the place.”

Take for example the fact mainstream Media is having a hard time de-humanizing Pres. Obama. All efforts are not working. Pres. Obama has already been humanized so it is hard to un-do what has been done but Alvin Greene is a different can of worms. We can get him from the get-go! He’s no Sarah Palin.

Regarding Mr. Greene, I know five things about him: He lives with his parents, he was in the military, he paid $10,400 to get on the Democratic ballot in South Carolina and he showed a girl a sexy picture in a college computer class (He said/she said?). And that’s all I know about Mr. Alvin Greene. And the media smiles due to the fact that’s all it wants me to know about Mr. Alvin Greene, with an “e” on his name which they say makes him Black. (Apparently when “Greenberg” becomes “Green,” there is no “e”.)

As a matter of fact, and now that I think about it, I have not seen any interviews with the critter Mr. Greene beat in the race nor have I heard a peep from his Republican challenger, Jim Dement. There is a reason for this.

Media may feel in today’s political climate and in the case of Alvin Greene, it is best to err on the side of caution by not humanizing him but rather relying on old tried and trusty practices of letting Blacks destroy each other, which they do in lue of lifting-up each other and offering a helping hand. The oligarchy, via the media, smiles: “Let sleeping dogs lie”.

The Most Disrespected President Ever: Post-racial America my a**

by Baracktopian
Excerpt:
I make no apologies for believing in the best of humanity, and neither should you. Even though at times I can only shake my head at the nonstop, unrelenting ugliness that characterizes much of the msm coverage surrounding Obama, I still remain humbled by this man.

Don Lemon “interviews?” Alvin Greene

I have always considered Don Lemon of CNN-TV a small fish trying to swim in deep waters. I have yet to find any depth in questions he ask people he interviews. It seems Mr. Lemon is at his best swimming in neighborhood cesspools. His interview with South Carolina Senate nominee Alvin Greene was, in my opinion, the pits and it appears he was reading the repetitive and insulting questions he was demanding Mr. Greene to answer.

-(Paraphrase) Some Senators in South Carolina say you are crazy.

- Are you impaired right now? Are you under the influence of anything? You sound like it.

Mr. Lemon was speaking to a possible U.S. Senator and he has no more sense than to publicly expose his own banal ignorance, bad manners and total lack of civility. What is this world coming to? Me think dat boy Don Lemon needs a bit mo' edgeumuhcation. He ain’t ready yet! He is one token I can do without. Scumbag.
