Sen. Harry Reid becomes (gasp!) un-clothed (Update)

According to Rachel Maddow, five and possibly six Democratic Senators will not seek re-election in 2014. Good or bad I find the situation curious.

Long story short and in my opinion, Sen. Harry (I don’t have the votes!)  Reid is and has always been an ineffectual leader. I thought his job was to get the votes for his party by hook or crook. I thought his job was to know how to play the political game for the good of his party. I thought he was supposed to know what he was doing when his colleagues voted for him to be Senate Majority Leader.

I think Harry Reid is for Harry Reid and surely no great friend of the President.

I further think in 2014 when new Democratic Senators are voted into office, they will find themselves just as frustrated and un-productive as their predecessors due to the incompetence of their leader, Harry Reid. I find it hard to wish them well.

I was only able to remember four names from the list Rachel put up: Carl Levin, Jay Rockefeller, Frank Lautenberg and Tom Harkin.
As always,
