Iran: It is said, “All behavior is purposeful.”

The twenty year old Iranian girl said she wanted “Freedom” when the moderator on WAMU-FM asked her what she wanted from the current marches and unrest in her country.

I am a bit impatient right now and will cut right to the chase of my post due to the fact on one of my favorite sites several commentators thoroughly exposed a US propagandist writing about the Iranian situation whom many trusted and felt was a very informed diarist. Busted!

In my opinion, the twenty year old Iranian young lady reflected what many of the marching Iranians feel and that is they feel something is wrong in their country. They do not know exactly what it is, but they know something is wrong. A gut feeling, so to speak.

We are hearing their movement is leaderless. That means there is no central focal point being advocated and therein lie the dangers of such a movement. A leaderless movement is extremely vulnerable for a fast talking whatever to step right into the situation drawing identification like a magnet representing a culminator of all their desires.

I understand the country consists of both Kurds and Arab citizens with sub-sets. I understand a large percentage of the populace is young. A lot of young people have open minds and that is good. Finally, what is bad in this Iranian situation is the goodness of the open minds of its youth. I wish them well.
As always,

P.S. In all countries I would suspect there are voluminous metaphors for a group of leaderless people i.e., “If you don’t stand for something you will fall for anything.” Rev. Jesse Jackson

I hate you, now wait until I find a reason

I can not think in those lofty venues to understand why America wants to destabilize another country. I say America due to the fact I have never heard of another country such as France, Russia or England trying to de-stabilize another country. I do not understand the point. I do not understand the gratification and as I said, I am not privy to the mentality of people who do such things. They have to have egos bigger than or at least comparable to the Great Pyramid of Giza.

However, there is one thing I do know and understand and that is the “one or two issue” lynch pins used to de-stabilize a country. The lynch pins are not particularly sophisticated but rather just so neutral that any ingredient you want can be added to it while the basic structure remains the same i.e., making a cake whether chocolate, angle food or coconut.

It appears to be a skill that has to be either a gift from the gods or the results of many years of meaningful apprenticeship. In my opinion, it’s been tried here in America several times and most recently: The first time the lynch pins were “He’s a Muslin!” and “He was not born in the U.S.” This was of course in reference to Pres. Obama. Now we have the additional lynch pins, “I hope he fails” repeated by Rush Limbaugh and “We are not safe!” widely broadcasted by our former Vice President Dick Cheney. All four statements, lynch pins if you will, designed to destabilize America a la Iran.

Now to the issue of destabilizing Iran. To my knowledge most people here in America were bombarded and re-acted to two phrases regarding Iran: Pres. Ahmandinejad said “Israel should be wiped off the face of the earth” and “He does not believe in the Holocaust”. That’s it! I never heard anything about his religion, papers he has written, his political party affiliation or even if he has the army on his side or not.

Just the two statements mentioned above and with those two statements Americans are fanning the flames in Iran possibly responsible for seven deaths to date and want Pres. Obama to also fan the flames by raising his hands to say, “Stop!” when the leader of the opposition himself, Mis Hussein Moussavi, is not doing so. These are strange thinking processes. They are not even childish. I don‘t know what kind of thinking it is but by the same token I can not deny the results they create. Could it really be “Amuse me! Kill, kill, kill, I wanna see murders and lots of blood!!?”

To have a country destabilized and people killed for two things you do not like what its President said just boggles my mind. I repeat myself once again, the people doing it must get a bang out of doing so but I can’t see it. I need more reasons than what they state to hate somebody. When I found out people can be evil during the recent Republican administration, it was when I developed a capacity to hate. I didn’t go looking for it. Color me thoroughly confused.

Are You Ready for War with a Demonized Iran?
Excerpt:
The U.S. media’s demonization of Ahmadinejad itself demonstrates American ignorance. The President of Iran is not the ruler. He is not the commander-in-chief of the armed forces. He cannot set policies outside the boundaries set by Iran’s rulers, the ayatollahs who are not willing for the Iranian Revolution to be overturned by American money in some color-coded “revolution.”

And
Iranians have a bitter experience with the United States government. Their first democratic election, after emerging from occupied and colonized status in the 1950s, was overturned by the U.S. government. The U.S. government installed in place of the elected candidate a dictator who tortured and murdered dissidents who thought Iran should be an independent country and not ruled by an American puppet.

Decisions: Racism or a failed country?

In my opinion, many whites would rather get their jollies off making meaningful efforts to demonize Blacks than help promoting the health and welfare of America.

I think America is stronger now due to the fact many whites can now ponder what Rev. King and other “uppity” Blacks would have contributed to this country were equal treatment of American citizens a given. What would this country look like and would have become if we Blacks had the job promotions and the law on our side all the way as a given and sensitive, humane teachers? (Newt Gingrich teaches.)

What if we Blacks could do something, regardless how small and the vast public would encourage and support us to run for high offices i.e., Joe the Plumber, Al Franken, Ronald Reagan and Rev. Al Sharpton and as for mis-speaking along racial lines i.e., one Sarah Palin?

I for one am glad America is talking about race. There is no question it is in its infancy stages but there are now amongst the populace murmurs instead of whispers and in some quarters, open dialog instead of whispers. However, what gives me the most glee is with the Presidency of Barack Obama, so many non-Blacks now know why America, as a country, will never get into heaven. Not even close! The man said “We are our brother’s keeper!” That’s what HE said; not BB.

Republicans Gone Wild!
Excerpt:
It began in November with the stunning and historic presidential victory of Barack Obama and the sweeping democratic landslides in both the House and Senate. Ever since, Republicans have been acting like a bunch of jilted lovers hanging around the water-cooler disparaging their ex's in ways ranging from the vile and vitriolic to the sophomoric and absurd.

Iran: U.S. last throes of political propaganda? (Update)

American Propaganda Machine is beginning to look like a run down old hag. Just like “….The Old Gray Mare, she ain’t what she use to be”. Young, bright-eyed and bushy-tail can no longer describe her. In other words, she’s old, tired, shameless and useless. She was finally busted with the election of Pres. Obama when all the teeth in her head fell out. She has become a real embarrassment.

The propagandist’s plan to influence the elections in Iran was so obvious and in your face, as we use to say, even Ray Charles could see it. In my opinion, the propaganda consisted of two issues; Ahmandinejad sitting straight up in his bed one night crying out into the darkness, “Israel must be wiped off the face of the earth!” and a few hours later, “I deny the Holocaust!” It seems a neighbor was awakened by his maniacal ranting and ran gasping to the Israeli Embassy to report it and the rest is history. “Ah-ha!” Said the Embassy man. “I told you that boy was triflin’!” “Not fit to run a country!” said another. “Scum!” cried the neighbor.

Ms. Amanpour of CNN reported most Iranians residing in other countries -that would include America- voted to keep Pres. Ahmandinejad in office for a second term.

Coup D'etat in Venezuela: Made in the USA: The U.S.-designed Plan to Overthrow Hugo Chavez in the Days Following the Election
In 1999, when the U.S.-led bombing campaign in Serbia didn't get rid of Slobodan Milosovic, Washington changed its strategy. U.S. intelligence organized a $77 million effort to oust Milosovic through the ballot box. They sent in CIA front organizations funded by the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). Instead of guns and bombs, these U.S. forces were armed with fax machines, computers, and perhaps most importantly, sophisticated surveys done by the Washington-based polling firm Penn, Schoen & Berland.(1) Their mission: to take down Milosovic by strengthening opposition groups.

And
His claims were backed by Fred Burton, a former US state department counter-terrorism agent, who said: "The latest attacks inside Iran fall in line with US efforts to supply and train Iran's ethnic minorities to destabilise the Iranian regime."
