CNN shines beacon of light on oil spill

Nothing satisfies the soul as does “Hope”. I don’t mean religious hope, I mean just plain ol’ hope of the human spirit with beliefs in some form of the future at which point you can make necessary adjustments. In other words, just having hope you will move forward; Keepin’ on keeping’ on, so to speak.

This morning, TJ. Homes of CNN conducted a half-hour program featuring people demonstrating on camera how their products could clean up the oil spill in the Gulf. I only saw the least minutes of the show with two people showing their products. I got that feeling of hope.

And now several hours later, I am reading about the failure of British Petroleum (BP) to “Top Kill” the oil well, which was an effort to plug the leak. I had to re-kindle the hope I experienced earlier in the morning and it become magnified.

In my opinion, the leak will eventually be fixed and someone, maybe one of those guys appearing on T.J.’s show this morning, has the product that will clean up the oil in the waters. I hope so! I look forward to T.J. presenting more of those guys. It would be a wonderful series and would fit his personality like a glove. Kudos!

“Birds of a feather…”

Birds of a feather working for the good will of a country may work well in China or some other country considered A-tonal but not in a Multi-cultural (Multi-tonal?) country like America.

Of late, we have witnessed two disastrous outcomes of institutions heavily dominated by birds of the same feather; Wall Street and the Offices of the U.S. Minerals Management Service (MMS).

In my opinion, an A-tonal anything can, with the greatest of ease, morph into self-serving group-think entities contrary to the public good.

It is the easiest thing to do with the assigning of promotions and doling out perks, including going on retreats, giving away sport tickets, bestowing lucrative endowments and the likes.

True, there is a time and place for everything but a gathering of birds of the same feather in groups of people working for the good of a country like America is the proverbial recipe for disaster.

And not straying far from Wall Street to the Offices of Minerals Management Service and minus the presence of Sen. Roland Burris, we may take a historical look at the mean spirited efforts to keep him out of the Senate.
Is it possible Sen. Obama was offered the Presidency to get him out of the Senate? Would he have gotten any of his bills or amendments passed had he stayed? Did such miracles occur during the tenures of Mr. Burris or Ms. Mosley-Braun? I wonder as I wander....

Oil spills and better mouse traps

There are so many theories as to how to stop the oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico. And there was testimony today from Sec. Salizar saying that thousands of distributors have contacted his office offering products to clean up the oil spill.

If I had a machine to stop the oil leak or a product that would clean up the oil spill, I would take out a full page ad in the New York Times advertising my product. I would believe in my product that much and would feel I had nothing to lose.

Is BP too big to fail?

I have been hearing about skirmishes with governmental agencies BP has encountered in the past. Watching CNN this morning, I heard about British Petroleum workers killed in trailers in 2002.

In my opinion, BP and Wall Street have identical histories of greed and incompetence with both of them constantly awarded “Too Big To Fail” status by our Congress.

How many times do we have to learn lessons that the “Teacher’s Pet” is most always a rich, spoiled brat??

How quickly the oligarchy has telescoped desires to impeach Pres. Obama for offering Mr. Sestak a job in the administration if he would drop out of the Senate race with Arlen Specter. The irony is the “Impeachment is off the table” for Pres. Bush will have come back to bite Nancy Pelosi on her butt and especially if it turns out she is the person who offered Sestak the job. The irony would indeed be hysterical.

It was amusing hearing Ms. Clinton talking about wanting to see more women in Iran’s government during her speech to sanction them. As mandated by the UN, Iran is to be given the same harsh sanctions for shipping their uranium out of Iran to be refined in Turkey as they would have gotten had they done nothing.

Both flashing “Hear ye, hear ye!” signs telling us of their intentions to overturn Citizens Vs. FEC which was the decision of the U.S. Supreme Court granting corporations unlimited money to use in elections.

“Take your toys and go home! If you become bankrupted, so what? We still want you to live up to the financial commitments you made to us! Shoo! Get the hell out of here! Go, already! We’ll find a way to stop that leak. We‘re Americans! As I speak, we are preparing a special diving suit for Obama. He has an unusual relationship with water.”

“Oligarchy” and “Coin operated politicians”

In my opinion, Oligarchy and Coin operated politicians are Word Tools destined to laying the foundation for massive disruptions of our government. In some ways, it has already begun.

They are tools that can not be used or manipulated to signify positive intentions, thereby propelling uninterrupted powers. In other words, an unstoppable rallying cry signifying 21st Century Americans paused to storm the gates and walls of our Bastille.

I know all insurrections have rallying cries and they are usually era specific. I think we have found our era specific cries and after appropriate fermentation, like any fermentation, they will explode out of their seriously flawed and weaken kegs spewing their contents all over our lands. We will see in the months of November 2010 and 2012 or before.

P.S. In my opinion, the indiscriminating use of words like communist, socialist and fascism are not working. They have never worked here in America due to the fact a truly emotional case can not be made.

Are they mean enough to destroy America?

Before the Bush administration, it was almost impossible believing people could be mean and evil, and I continue to struggle with that reality.

In my opinion, America was already on its way to being destroyed by the Bush/Cheney cabal in the White House by being mean and evil and with lots of help from their friends and the fat, swollen wallets of the Congress.

Their rational was different in those days and when the oligarchy realized Barack Obama was destined to become President, their rational changed. The oligarchy was still determined to rape and destroy America but now they had a scapegoat made in heaven; A Black man, a Black man destined to become President and using the tools of their trade by simply attaching Black stereotypes onto the incoming Black President, it was a piece of cake.

They knew it would be easy. The country had already been fully conditioned to believe Black people are incompetent.

As we have witnessed, the oligarchy had comrades in very high places and I continue to believe John McCain did not want the job as President. He was not that stupid not knowing what was going on.

For me, the shot across the bow came at the Inauguration Ceremony with Chief Justice Roberts administering the oath of office. For many of us, the seemingly innocent twisting of the words incident did not go un-noticed with its tremendous symbolism. Indeed it was a well crafted trap designed to say Obama was too stupid to notice the oath had been changed. The media would have had a field day with that one but the plot was foiled; the Black man standing in front of him and soon to become the 43rd President of the U.S. knew what he was doing.

There has to be many more traps that were set for the President that we will hear about bye and bye.

In my opinion, the Inauguration Day incident was the first overt intentions to transfer blame to Pres. Obama and as of today, we end up with *James Carvelle calling the President “lackadaisical” i.e., shiftless and lazy and before that we had the infamous remarks from Rush Limbaugh, “I hope he (the President) fails!”.

There is no doubt in my mind Pres. Obama is being blackmailed with full knowledge the oligarchy would, with no conscious whatsoever, plummet this country into full third world status, stealing all of our treasure and knowing he would be left holding the bag.

To answer my own question, I say “Yes!" They are mean enough to destroy America. The destruction was well on its way before the President took office.

If and when such a destruction of America does occur, I am mindful Ex-Pres. Bush bought property in Paraguay. He does not have duel citizenship with Israel so he can’t go there as can many other contributors.

Mean…..

mean, low, base, abject, ignoble, sordid. These adjectives mean lacking in dignity or falling short of the standards befitting humans.

Mean suggests pettiness, spite, or niggardliness: "Never ascribe to an opponent motives meaner than your own" (J.M. Barrie).

Something low violates standards of morality, ethics, or propriety: low cunning; a low trick.

Base suggests a contemptible, mean-spirited, or selfish lack of human decency: "that liberal obedience, without which your army would be a base rabble" (Edmund Burke).

Abject means brought low in condition: abject submission; abject poverty.
