Syria is minding her business; let’s do the same

I’ve written to the White House and my congressional representatives expressing my opinion. It is my opinion you do not save face and credibility by killing people or destroying their property.

Pres. Obama put his foot in his mouth by announcing “Assad has to go!”  and “..crossing a red line”. Let him deal with it! This will not be the first time he has put his foot in his mouth. He has more experience then anyone as to how to deal with it.  And to take the whole country to the brink of war to save face is idiocy. The President, in his own charming way, may want to apologize to the Syrian people for his mis-spoken words.

Mr. President: your foot, your mouth. Enough said.
As always,
BB

Obama risks embarrassing loss in Congress

Excerpt:

And
Just days ago, British Prime Minister David Cameron suffered a stunning defeat when Parliament rejected participating in any attack on Syria. Obama believes Congress will approve the resolution, though the White House has not counted votes, according to senior administration officials speaking on the condition of anonymity as a matter of White House policy.

Debunking Obama’s Chemical Weapons Case Against the Syrian Government
by ERIC DRAITSER
Excerpt:
The document entitled “U.S. Government Assessment of the Syrian Government’s Use of Chemical Weapons on August 21, 2013”, released in tandem with public statements made by Secretary of State John Kerry, is merely a summary of a manufactured narrative designed to lead the US into yet another criminal and disastrous war in the Middle East.

And
The “U.S. Government Assessment of the Syrian Government’s Use of Chemical Weapons on August 21, 2013” is a poorly constructed attempt to justify the politically, militarily, and morally unjustifiable war against Syria.
