*Alan Keys fights to keep social status (Update)

Right at the start I would say “No” it is not the status of being the "Black Village Idiot" he is fighting for as many would suggest from his performance yesterday on public television. In my opinion, he is fighting for his “Messiah” and “Mr. Goody-good two shoes” status that is eroding due to his self proclaimed nemesis, President Obama. Yet another person making a fool of himself trying to tear down our President. There have been so many of those idiots since the Presidential primaries I’ve lost count. Why are they so determined? They seem to be attracted to President Obama like a moth to the flame.

I am one who believes if you are Black and going to college, if at all possible your under-graduate degree should be from a Historically Black College (HBC) or University (HBU). I like the idea of being Black you can be well grounded in yourself and your education before going to a white school for your graduate work. That is a very, very hot and argumentative point. It is the DNA of the whole argument and I will also use that analogy again when I write my post on Mr. Santelli.

There are many Blacks who have successfully by-passed the HBC and HBU experience and landed on their feet but not so with the good Dr. Alan Keys. He sounds just like a Black who has absorbed the white culture hook, line and sinker resulting into the one of self-hatred. There are some Black who would verbally utter distinct disgust with the mere mentioning of them going to a HBC or HBU for their undergraduate work. Take it from me! I personally have little patience with them. They are so different. What use to happen was a white school would siphon off the smartest Blacks in high school, get them into their white schools and demoralize and humiliate them in various forms and flunk them out. As I said, I know this use to happen. They do not call President Obama the “Magic Negro” for nothing. The good Mr. Keys has found that out.

I strayed. Sorry. After one or two years in that white school before he is flunked out he is usually of no more use to our Black community. A has-been. An Alan Keys, so to speak. No meaningful personality. Talking about a confused individual. Always trying to see gray in most important issues and, as an example, Rev. Jeremiah Wright is not one of them and I think Dr. Cosby has had his struggles. I know what I have personally witnessed.

Dr. Keys did his undergraduate work at Harvard and also his graduate work there and during his first year in grad school, Bill Kristol was his room mate. (See what I mean? Imagine the joys of having Bill Kristol as your room-mate.) Wandering into the white world with inadequate foundations. It has to do with that “fall for anything” talk Rev. Jackson talks about. I am mindful Mr. Alan was the white’s great hope to defeat Mr. Obama in the senate seat race for Illinois. Apparently he has not forgotten how nice white people were to him during that time and, as late as yesterday, he wants them to know he has not change. He is still the ever loving Negro who deserves their love and adulations.

However, I perceive there is a slight change in Mr. Keyes demeanor. When I heard him pontificating yesterday, I immediately felt he has begun to speak in parables. You know, just like Jesus himself? Remember all the parables of Jesus and how you have to really dig into them to get clarity? In my opinion, that is how the good Mr. Keys spoke yesterday and we all know Mr. Keys is a very religious man and I hope his ambitions does not lead him to having what he thinks are Sermons on the Mount and stuff.

Get it? Now that he has notified Pres. Obama he is still around, I wonder what job he wants in the President’s cabinet? He gave his resume on public television yesterday so I can only imagine him with a big smile on his face waiting for a phone call today from the President. Looking forward to Act 2. This guy is good!!

P.S. Whites attend Howard University Medical School but they don’t want to be seen by the Black community. They have a separate graduation. At least they use to. Cute, huh?

Every four years America puts all its eggs in one basket. Why?

In my opinion, all of America’s eggs are in one basket put there with one vote at a time and now that basket of eggs, America, is being tested for its authenticity. In other words, America is being tested as a civilized entity in the universe.
Testing: Definition

A procedure for critical evaluation; a means of determining the presence, quality, or truth of something; a trial: a test of one's eyesight; subjecting a hypothesis to a test; a test of an athlete's endurance.2. A series of questions, problems, or physical responses designed to determine knowledge, intelligence, or ability.3. A basis for evaluation or judgment: "A test of democratic government is how Congress and the president work together" Haynes Johnson.

The recent picture in the NY Post of the police killing a chimp was not funny. In my opinion, the timing of the picture was one more testing of America’s pressure points; ifs fallibilities, if you will. Testing to see if we are finally done. Perhaps the last in a series of testing before the total collapse of our system and its conquerors take their triumphal places just as I think the Israeli settlements are going to go into Egypt, yet another passive country standing for nothing and easy to conquer. No political morals.

Naomi Klein’s name keeps popping in my head. I don’t know why so I have to del with it. Talking about her and her book is not what I had in mind when starting to write this post. I did not read her book due to the fact it is not my type of leisure reading material but I did see her on her book tour and heard a lot about her writings and even wrote a post espousing her incredible teaching skills.

I originally wanted to write about some **Republican Governors who may not accept the stimulus money and how helpless the people of those states are to do anything. I wanted to write how helpless and non-responsive we are regarding the “Chimp” picture in the NY Post this morning. I know Rev. Sharpton is right there but Please! We’re passed the “It’s an insult!” and the likes. I am mindful how we stood by and let Palestinians be murdered less than a month ago; a true test of our humanness. The people in Afghanistan being murder by U.S. drone planes. We say, “Shame on America!” Those three words go the way of the other three words uttered by Rev. Sharpton.

I for one am upset no one has gone to jail for stealing our money. I note a lot of things we let people get away with shitting all over us with immunity. Our society has given a new mental vision of getting up, dusting yourself off and starting over again. It is now crawling out from under one after another pile of shit dumped on us and trying to pretend we are an intelligent and concerned citizenry. We put up a good front. The question becomes: Do Americans deserve a country like America? Do we deserve a country at all? What citizens in what country, accept in America, would allow their oligarchy to treat them this way? This is as far as I can go with these heated concerns regarding my country.

Also there is renewed interest in the pearls of wisdom from the masterful puppet master Dick Cheney and his pupets Karl Rove, Mitch Romney and the venerable and lovable Sen, John McCain. All have been brought back on stage participating in the crowd scene anticipating the entrance of one Sarah Palin. The script suggest Ms. Palin making her entrance in the aura of Glenda, the good witch of the north lip syncing to the august assembled crowd, “If you believe.” I am mindful MSM is also fighting for its Republican life.

My source tells me MSM wants to kind of, sort of, putrid the air to such a degree that when Ms. Palin comes on stage, she will appear as a very desirable breath of fresh air. And John McCain? We all know the routine. They are trying to make John McCain, yes, old educationally challenged John McCain, the magda cum laude spokesperson of their efforts. He will be casted as the hero and his song TBA will also be from “The Wiz”. It’ a riot! Now to be real honest, my source has been wrong before so I will post a dis-claimer up front as to its accuracy. Finally, my source says MSM is working on eliciting the help of Adolph himself for a cameo appearance. Stay tuned! If it is at all possible, our MSM will have no problems and surely no shame in doing it.

Printing presses at GPO have to be working overtime (Update)

Although employees at the Government Printing Office (GPO) in Washington, D.C. maybe use to having rush jobs, I can but imagine the deadlines associated with producing request forms associated with the “Stimulus Recovery Bill”. Requesting money can be a big deal sometimes.

I would imagine one could get a pretty good idea related to how the stimulus bill is going to be implemented by both the state and the mayors by taking a look-see at the forms they have created and requested. Aside from the forms needed for the states, I would imagine local printers would be also busy doing their share of printing necessary forms the mayors have requested. What about the IRS forms reflecting the $400 credit? It would be nice to know the forms contractors and the like have already and will have to complete and to whom the forms go? What would be the chain of command for submitting the forms? Where have they found “land mines” or “AH’s?” What would be the functions of their banks? Would the banks fail after getting such a large sum of money due to the fact they are already “shakey?”

Is “The Shadow” the only one who knows? The only one having answers to the many internal workings and questions associated with the stimulus bill? An ad hoc Republican committee could do us a favor getting us some information in this regard since they are so pessimistic about the bill instead of milling around bitching. They should do something else! The word “productive” comes to mind. 2010 is just around the corner. (Smile)

Ah, were I an investigative reporter with a progressive boss who trust me for a good story….

New "Skull and Bones" symbols

If memory serves me correctly, I first saw the “Skull and Bones” symbol on a bottle of iodine my Mother used for our skinned arms and knees so many years ago. The word “Poison” was written right under the menacing symbol. There was not much to be said. The symbol and word “Poison” to our bodies said it all.

and the content of the links has forced me to take an early morning pre-dawn drink. I kid you not! I think it’s a celebratory drink due to the fact I feel so much more empowered to deal with my diabetes now. I’m still learning.

This is what I learned:
What are the major sources of fructose?
Fruits and vegetables have relatively small, "normal" amounts of fructose that most bodies can handle quite well. The problem comes with added sugars in the modern diet, the volume of which has grown rapidly in recent decades. The blame has often been pinned to high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), which is made up of 55% fructose and 45% glucose. However, sucrose is half fructose and half glucose. So, HFCS actually doesn't have a whole lot more fructose than "regular" sugar, gram for gram.
High fructose corn syrup has become incredibly inexpensive and abundant, partially due to corn subsidies in the United States. So, really, the problem is more that it has become so cheap that it has crept its way into a great number of the foods we eat every day.

P.S. Is the increased use of fructose one of the reasons our behaviors have become increasingly aggressive and non-human? Our reasoning powers becoming increasingly impaired or at least in sharp contrast to the way humans thought and did things pre-fructose? I am beginning already to wonder as I wander with this new information.

The President, CNN and a J.Edgar Hoover memo

The other evening, CNN journalist Ed Henry tried to give an un-bias report on the President’s speech at the newly renovated Ford’s Theater in Washington, D.C.

I say Mr. Henry tried due to the fact he said the President tried to deliver a funny joke in his speech during the evening. My ears flapped up because I had heard on other occasions a reporter announcing the President tried, is trying or was trying to say something. So when I heard “The President tired to tell a joke” at the Ford’s Theatre, I looked up and, oops! I saw that! It was Ed Henry picking up the slippery soap he had dropped.

In my opinion, the repetition of the President trying to do something suggests to me buffoonery. Perhaps even evoking images of the fox’s repeated efforts to catch the road runner or the annual rituals of Daisy Mae on Sadie Hawkins Day trying to catch a beau. (Smile)

In either case, it says to me even if the President succeeds in his endeavors, all lathered up Ed Henry would still shape the situation to insert doubts as to the clarity of what he is saying.

For example, all wet reporter Ed Henry was saying if you were at the affair, you may have thought the President’s joke was funny but “I didn‘t!”. Another example; If the good Mr. Henry said that the President was trying to tell the people he has a good stimulus package, here again good ol’ slippery Mr. Henry would be saying if you were there, YOU may have thought he gave a good speech on his stimulus package but as for me, “I didn’t”.

Poor Mr. Henry. Oops!, there goes his soap again on the floor. More bias reporting on the President, more Ed Henry butt flying in the air. “Good Lord, man, get yourself together!”

Mr. Henry has problems. Maybe if he washes his mouth and ears out or not go to any more of the President’s event he’ll be fine. Better still, he may not have to shower so much if he would just tell his producer to make other assignments for him. He may have a bad case of attracting “Obama dust!” all over himself effecting his hearing and sense of humor. Let Joe Johns or Michelle Bernard have the job. Hell, I might even take Jesse Lee Peterson. At least he is not sneaky and allergic to “Obama dust” and probably even knows a good joke when he hears one. (Smile)

I can not help being mindful of what happened in the 1960’s when Director of FBI J. Edgar Hoover, responding to his self imposed nemesis the Black Panther Party (BPP), sent out a memo to news agencies telling them if they have to report anything at all regarding the BPP, to only report negative issues. The news agencies were not to report anything like the following:

*“By organizing and implementing the desires of the masses, the BPP organized community programs ranging from free breakfast for children, to free health clinics, to rent strikes resulting in tenant ownership of their buildings, to Liberation School for grade-schoolers, to free clothing drives, to campaigns for community control of schools, community control of police, and campaigns to stop drugs, crime, and police murder and brutality in the various Black colonies across America. For these reasons, and others, the influence of the BPP spread far beyond its actual membership”

During that time there was a BPP supporter named Angela Davis who was also a self imposed nemesis of Mr. Hoover. It was a while before I knew both Ms. Davis and Hewey Newton, the leader of the BPP had PH.D’s. Ms Davis’ education:Humboldt University of Berlin (GDR), University of California San Diego, University of Frankfurt (magna cum laude), Brandeis University. Mr. Newton’s education: UC Santa Cruz, Ph.D.
