Karl Rove et al., played by the media (Update)

With the  media and pollsters constantly telling rich anti-Obama moneybags  the Obama/Romney Presidential  race was neck-n-neck, the final results from the Electoral College had a disastrous and not even  distant close score of 332-206 in favor of Obama.

 In my opinion, all of the moneybags were  played  big time! The expression goes: “A fool and his money are soon parted.“ Are law suits to follow? (Tee-hee)

-Show them in. Gentlemen, my friends and  I are very pleased with your work. You are doing a fine job, a great job! And because of that, we have decided to continue our contract with you. All of you. I have directed my secretary here to give each of you another million dollars to continue this important work. I‘ll see you next week. Have a good day. (peering out of the window)  They are driving bigger cars then they had when they fist came here awhile ago.

2016: (Tuh-duh) The Clintons!

In my opinion, the Clintons still collectively want to be President of the United States of America and President Obama has lighted their way. More than ever, they can see the light shining brightly at the end of the tunnel for both of them.

I was angry and did not understand at first. President Obama was compassionate in his feelings towards Hillary losing the race against him in ‘08 so he decided she should have another chance at capturing the golden ring. He felt she would be in a political position hard to beat in the next Presidential election were she Secretary of State in his Administration. That was his strategy and it worked.  The President was confident  that Hillary, as Secretary of State, would meet other world leaders and be aware of their concerns and talking points.  And consequently if she did her   job well, she would not be a stranger to them and they would wish her well and welcome her back  into their country  as a Presidential candidate and later as President.

As things now stand, Hillary is leaving her job as Secretary of State with high marks from both the American and world community hopefully to prepare herself to run in 2016.

Her husband Bill, who was seething from her ‘08 defeat, soon saw the light as to  how well Pres. Obama had set her up to become President came on board and, oh boy! he broke out on the scene wearing his cowboy hat and boots with  blazing  shot guns in both hands. It was breathtaking! He should now start courting the American Haitian community Pres. Obama linked him into.

The 2016 Presidential race is going to be interesting. I wish them well.

P.S. When Hillary had the character to publicly take the blame for whatever happened in Benghazi and at this point,  teams of mules could not stop me from voting for her as President in 2016. She ever so skillfully prevented Republicans from trying to make the unfortunate Benghazi incident their perceived Waterloo for Pres. Obama. I was very impressed!! The incident became just as inconsequential to his re-election as the Florida vote.

America to Obama…..

We are not going to kick you out of the White House!

My interpretation of the President getting a second term in office  continues, “We know it was rough for you and for us these past few years and if it continues for four more years, so be it! We will not allow them to chase you away.”

 Time for Republicans to do some soul searching

GOP and The Obama derangement syndrome

I give a hearty hat tip to the person who coined the expression, The Obama derangement syndrome.

In my opinion, the expression was  to describe how the Presidency of Obama would challenge the mental stability of  some individuals in our society. Many of those individuals  were found crawling under rocks and hiding behind  expensive and elegantly hung curtains.  And there were some  having torrents of un-healthy emotions breaking through years of their façade for all to see and every time it happened, TV station MSNBC evening news teams would run ’n tell it!

From what we have seen thus far into the Presidency of Barack Obama, I believe there were few of us understanding the full inner-workings of the expression and its many manifestations.  That was then.

I pride myself writing a post in May, 2012:

In a certain way, I can say I was a “one issue” voter when casting my Presidential vote for Barack Obama in 2008.

I felt what would befall a Black President would be the same emotional issues that would befall any Black man whom many feel is not in his place. I felt it would be the pleasure of the nemesis of our society to expose him, stripping him naked of anything associated with being considered human and in turn, exposing themselves  and our government  as never before.

And now, as never before, we know who and what we are dealing with as a society. We can follow the money, power and influences as easily as Dorothy followed the yellow brick road.
