Obama, the bubble buster
In my opinion, the theme of the second Presidential debate between President Obama and Gov. Mitt Romney was, “Pop goes the bubbles!”
Metaphorically, Gov. Romney came on stage wearing a business suite with bubbles of all colors and sizes attached to it. There were bubble on his collar, on his sleeves down to the hem of his pants. There were bubbles behind his ears, tangled in his hair and on the tip and heels of his shoes. Each bubble contained issues the Governor and his advisers felt would be winning points during his second debate with Pres. Obama.
The President came out from stage left also wearing a business suite with a shiny sharp pin in his hand. It was a pin he would use with the greatest of finesse, dignity and marksmanship.
Act two. (Curtain)
