Holder and Charlie Rangel

Within the past few years, I am absolutely positive in  declaring  my most disturbing moments in politics were when members of the House, both Democrats and Republicans, censured Congressman  Rangel for ethics violations.

I am bracing myself for a similar voting pattern when the full House votes to hold *Sec. Eric Holder in Contempt Of Congress. In cases like this, Democrats, to their detriment,  pride themselves for not being a monolith. I am mindful of The Cheese in the popular nursery rhyme “The farmer in the dell” when at the end of the day,  a Black man in America still stands alone and abandoned  many times by members of his own party. Sad. (Whisper: I won't mention the votes on the laws for cocaine and marijuana violations or that little thingy called Three Strikes and you're out)

Fighting for the dignity of my Ancestors,
God bless Bill Gates, WPFW, C-SPAN and the spirits of the unborn for the help,
BB
