Pow-Wow summit on November 16th?

In my opinion, one of the inherent values of having a meeting, conference or a classroom lesson and maximizing its effect is having a plan and exposing it in advance for all concerned persons to see.

If Pres. Obama has called for a meeting of the political chieftains, as he has, I think he could garner for himself un-presidented results by making public his rationale and his explicit agenda and what he hopes to accomplish; sort of akin to getting up, brushing himself off and starting over again. He should state these things himself and by his lonesome. In other words, the President should pull on his background as a college professor.

What could be the harm? Not only would the President be providing his supporters with advanced bragging points but also a subliminal notification that he knows what he is doing. The sooner he gets that information out to the public, the better for him.

Whether a proclamation nailed to a tree by a court messenger on horseback or a scroll read to the villagers by the town crier, it doesn’t matter. Let people know what you are doing and why you are doing it. Be honest. Be open. Be sincere. Just a suggestion.

There is a saying, "A mind is a terrible thing to waste". (Smile)
