Hell had an "Open House" today (Update)
I have to report it my way. I have to record the impressions it made on me my way. I have to run’n tell it my way. For, I know of no other.
Today we Villagers were taken on a guided tour through the long, narrow and massive entrance hall of Hell. On each side of the passage there were real life scenes, cameos if you will, of past accomplishments of the owner. After what seems like hours, we arrived and saw proudly displayed accomplishments depicting two days before the November 2010 midterm elections. They were horrid! 'Putrid' maybe a better word. To say they were bone-chilling would be an understatement.
The most prominent display and the one garnering the most attention was the display of Keith Olbermann. The twisted and grossly disfigured characters depicting TeaBaggers frightened the children and it is reported more than one adult did vomit while others showed other visible signs of nausea and disgust. There were some who aborted the tour at that point and the remaining ones braced themselves to continue, for whatever reason, for the tour had only begun. We were only in the entrance hall.
Today, In my opinion and two days before voting, the commentary from media pundits making efforts to influence the midterm elections were surreal. Who would have imagined our media was capable of such manipulative atrocities? If today was any indication of what we will see tomorrow, I can only pray for divine intervention.
As always,
BB
