Beaten down!

It was painful watching Pres. Obama at his press conference yesterday. Painful for me and perhaps “Hallelujah!” moments for others.

I saw before me what appeared to be a broken man. A Black man who had been broken. There were flashback memories of Kunta Kinte being beaten within an inch of his life by his slave overseer due to the fact he would not accept his new slave name of Toby.

Just as Kunta Kinte would scream out over and over in agonizing pain, “My name is Kunta Kinte”, so has our President vowed to continue his dream for bi-partisanship.

I could understand if the President were to step down from his job. He can not win. He will not win. Not in racist America. Blood is now in the water and even then he will not change; he can not change. It is sad…… so very, very sad.
