"In the world of gods and in the world of man…
everything is impermanent."
I remember these last lines from a reading on the mythology of India when a woman begs one of the gods to restore life to her dead baby. He said he would if she were to bring him a flex seed from a home not recently visited by tragedy. After visiting many homes, the still grieving mother returned to tell the god she was not successful.
And there is this one….
He who pays the piper calls the tunes.
Pipers……

P.S. My mother told us the world would be a crowded place if everyone lived forever.
