MSM distractions would succeed were it not for the Blogosphere
It is my opinion, Mainstream Media (MSM) as an arm of the American oligarchy, has met its Waterloo in the Blogosphere. We have turned them every which’a way but loose and now they stand before us and to the world “*Naked as a Jay bird!”
They stand before us and to the world as, to be polite, not very nice people. As it were, we Villagers pandered to the folklore and myths of our society, making appropriate sacrifices to the “Gods” as native tradition dictated. We were in darkness and did those things. That is, until the birth of Bill Gates begetting his minions of bloggers and their morphing into the Blogosphere. The problem is “Us” and the oligarchy has to deal with us. We are here! As much flesh and blood as they and with just as much tenacity to wage good fights under the circumstances.
To the perils of MSM and the oligarchy, they have found efforts snaring us into sex scandals, the ever sure winner of racially tinged stories and other such nonsense in the name of viable news is not cutting it any longer. We have our un-deterred eye on them on their bastardization of America. We do not have the short memory they have always tried to brain wash us into believing to cover their nefarious deeds by selective reporting and in many cases, providing no follow-up stories thereby thwarting us Villagers from connecting certain dots.
We have exposed them as the monsters they truly are and from Dorothy exposing the Wizard to whatever metaphor is appropriate, as the good Rev. Jeremiah Wright said and was so skillfully presented to us out of context, “America, be dammed!”
Looking into my Hiney Shiney, I see the movement of the TeaBaggers as making attempts to rid the U.S. Government of overt and covert treasonous neo-cons and wish them well. They will succeed in shining lights on a massive problem but it will be the sustained growth of the Blogosphere we can depend on rescuing Lady America, the damsel in distress, from her entombment in the tower. It is a process going into unchartered waters but commitments have been made. We will not quietly go into the night allowing the MSM and oligarchy kicking and screaming into globalization at the expense of shitting on us Villagers. If anything, we go together as a team, if you will, but unquestionably it will be with or without them. I feel it in my bones and my seventy three year old Hiney Shiney also tells me it is so!
As always,
BB
P.S. The blizzard is bad here in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and we have a bus for the handicapped called MetroAccess. I wonder how the people who have to go for dialysis treatment are fairing and how MetroAccess is handling the situation. It must be a nightmare for them and the dispatchers.

I'm done!
by MetalMD
Excerpt:
People who I thought were relatively intelligent, and people who I would have thought had much more to lose should we continue down this path, have no clue in the world where we're headed. They have been blinded to the truth by their own hatred, and the lack of understanding of the true motivations of those skillfully directing us down this path of destruction.

And
Honestly, I don't know if I can remain with Democrats if they fail on healthcare

Excerpt:
Here's how I feel. More demoralized and angry today than during the eight years of George Bush. I'm so sorry to say this, but it's the truth.
We have seen the enemy and it is us.
