When an issues is perfectly clear…

In my opinion, there is little else to do or say.

Early this morning, I heard the President is going on a multi-week tour to expand on his speech on HealthCare Reform he is scheduled to deliver tonight at 8:00 before the full sections of Congress. Red flags were immediately raised!

The President is notorious saying, “Let me be perfectly clear about this”. Usually he makes this statement at critical junctures of a speech he is delivering to us and is usually said producing “pin-drop” moments. I do not understand a multi-week tour if we have such a moment or two during his speech tonight. If indeed what he says is “Perfectly clear” what are the added advantages of spending time on the road? How can you make something “Perfectly clear” clearer? Is it something like having "..a more perfect Union?" If the President makes his speech “Perfectly clear” to many of us, he can take a break; we will do the rest. He can bet his next election polls on it! I continue my struggles to remain optimistic.
Progressive Obama Backers Take Out Full Page NYT Ad Targeting President
Excerpt:
The Progressive Change Campaign Committee raised over $100,000 online to fund the ad, which will be published in the paper this week. It features a petition signed by 400 former Obama campaign staffers, 25,000 Obama volunteers, and 40,000 Obama donors that states health care reform without a public option is not "change we can believe in." The full page can be seen at ActBlue, where the group is now raising money to turn it into a television spot featuring Obama organizers.

And
"To avoid losing the grassroots army that got him elected, President Obama needs to do more than express a preference for the public option," PCCC co-founder Adam Green said. "He needs to draw a line in the sand and fight hard for it."

P.S. Just saw Sen. Baucus being interviewed today on CNN around 1:00 PM. He appears WIERD! And that involuntary grin of his could absolutely frightened little children. It gave me chills! What gives with this man??
